Hark

Horrid hard times

may come into our lives

to release false obligations

we cling to

never learning to say no sweetly

without guilt or even regret

to remind us of the real coordinates

our true obligations

which are pure

and easily delightful

so I geiger counter

everything that I am

looking for the radioactivity

of false attachment

that is really invisibility cloaked terror and fear

I follow the clicks

and remind myself to believe

my own utter truth

this: that I may wind up

ready to

shed tears along with whole

lives

now we are harkening to angelic choruses

sweetly sighing

God only ever wants us to

be obliged

to really

truly

Love
